🌃 00:55
2.
empty sun 04:35
you can tell by the way their eyes don't meet you can tell that you're swimming in their ocean you can try to shake yourself free but not outside the gaze of this empty sun its indifferent light propped up every night giving its warmth to everyone who doesn't need it the killing moon may shine a brighter light but it doesn't carry all the sting of regret the streetlamps sing in fugues not directed at your path and the clouds have work to do they can't cover everyone (and you can do their math) it's not hard to feel cast aside when you're new here lost in crowds all the time like every night is new year's eve carbon dioxide you breathe out, it breathes in all that you give it takes and takes you out
3.
if you want to catch a train from here to the upper west side of my brain the last one left 30 seconds ago to a place so far out i wouldn't care to know you overflow with good intentions but there's a lost cause you won't forget to mention you say "we're all in this together" but you mean i'm chained to you forever or if you want to catch a flight from here to the whites in my eyes they're blocked by aviator sunglasses (my own private witness) you're a tourist in the canyons of my synapses either static, or rapidly collapsing all this to say with all apathy to you, i'm not listening anymore

bleed, pt. 2 05:47
5.
it's gone 03:50
can you hear me through the wires in the sky my soul's as good as sold to the screens in my eye and i think i've lost my connection with you or the blood in my i.v. is turning blue and it's all gone and it turns me on

7.
nowhere 03:53
seeing a train avoid the station the cart before the horse inevitable temptation the race has run its course nowhere is a place that finds you by your face a thought you can't erase you're walking at its pace a blood drive run by vampires awards to worse-performing semen drawn from wires invalidate everyone's suffering nowhere is a place that comes without a trace a thought you can't erase you're dragged out at its pace
8.
sweet jesus 04:01
sweet jesus what the hell is happening i awoke to hear bells deafening laying supine with the ice on my back december unravels: there's the first crack sweet jesus what the hell is happening i awoke to see all glass shattering we bore witness to the rising tide but never once in my life did i think it could turn inside
9.
lucky 03:10
saved by the sound that keeps me tethered to the ground i find myself in waves so i preserve my soul on tape just because i want this to cease doesn't mean i can't find peace i feel better because this exists here o i feel holy when you hold me in your hands oh, i feel good when i feel like you understand
10.
there is no logic to anything you're either alive or you aren't are we are slowly burning we could collapse in an instant and though my chest is full every day still feels like a miracle another opportunity in another life to be free success is living like a lotus beautiful and anonymous transient and floating letting off every feeling and though my chest is full every day still feels like a miracle another opportunity for another life to be free
